Sidecar Briar Wood Rollerball and Ballpoint

The briar wood used for the construction of these pens is the same as that used for the popular steering wheel cufflink and is reminiscent of the wood veneer often found on car dashboards, giving these pieces a strong Motorities theme. This is a natural wood with very little surface treatment ensuring to the tactile appeal of the pens whilst avoiding a ‘plastic coated’ appearance. Each one is unique due to the differences in grain pattern. A pen made almost entirely of wood is unusual and beautiful but is also robust enough to be functional and used on a daily basis. It should be noted however that care must be taken to avoid contact with liquids, or anything which could penetrate the wax coating and stain the wood.
