  For 2009, dunhill introduces the exquisite Shagreen Games Compendium, hand made by expert shagreen artisans and exclusively designed for Alfred Dunhill. Luxury and craftsmanship at its very best, this piece is formed using cedar wood, covered in the very finest grey shagreen leather – providing a protective element as shagreen is also remarkable durable - and elegantly trimmed with ebony. Shagreen is resplendent throughout on the chess, backgammon and ‘noughts & crosses’ boards – appropriately the counters and pieces for all of these games are presented in sterling silver. A bottom tray houses two packs of dunhill playing cards, poker die, bridge score cards and branded pencils.

  Sentryman Globe

  This incredible globe will be a real talking point on anyone's desk! Placed on its unique dunhill Sentryman leather covered base, it will silently rotate using only solar power. The outer shell contains a suspended inner globe with a thin layer of clear fluid between the two allowing it to rotate freely. The optical properties of the fluid and the outer shell magnify the features of the inner globe making the outer shell appear to move despite it remaining stationary. The internal magnetic helps to drive the mechanism while also ensuring that the globe remains correctly aligned at all times.

  Exclusively designed for Alfred Dunhill, these cards have an incredibly luxurious appeal. Each card is covered in 24ct gold leaf and is hallmarked 999. The combination of brushed and polished finishes gives the pattern a three dimensional quality and accentuates the signature diamond pattern engine appearance. These cards have been designed to be played with so they have been given a plastic coating for protection, making them extremely durable.
