Alfred Dunhill welcomes you to its new Home on Chuo-dori Ginza. The first Home of Alfred Dunhill embodies the spirit of the brand and its founder who believed in supplying the unique and the desirable with an unparalleled level of service, which centred on each customer's needs.
Exterior
Whilst Alfred Dunhill in Ginza is a home away from home for the brand it has elements which embody and reflect its location. The distinctive facade was designed by Mr. Tatsuya Matsui, a leading young architectural designer and renowned robot designer. Inspired by a Cabinet de Curiosité (a cabinet of curiosities), a dunhill interior motif, Matsui-san has created a geometric and contemporary exterior which at night allows the light from within the 3 storey building to flood out onto the street, as light does from an aquarium, showcasing the interior.
Services
Before you ascend the stair case from the ground floor you will discover Ginza exclusive Alfred Dunhill menswear and leathergoods, alongside pieces sourced by the highly respected London vintage store, Bentley's. The first floor houses an area devoted to the art of Custom, allowing us to create iconic dunhill tailoring and shirting silhouettes as well as leathergoods designs in your choice of colour and fabrication. Naturally the tailoring and shirting are fitted precisely to your personal measurements.
Alongside the Custom area you will find The Barber and The Aquarium, dunhill's first lounge. At The Barber you can enjoy the services of Ginza Matsunaga, famous for their advanced techniques in men's grooming. At The Aquarium you can choose from a menu created by Mr. Daisuke Miyashita, the man behind Kurayamizaka Miyashita and Kafka, whilst enjoying unique cocktails and the finest rare spirits. Further inside the store we will be happy to introduce you to our Valet service. In partnership with Happy Co. and using their environmentally friendly water and finishing technology we can provide unrivalled care and maintenance for of our customers' valuable wardrobes.
The Aquarium
The elegant Aquarium, located on the second floor and next to the Bespoke and Custom lounge, is operated through a partnership with Mr. Daisuke Miyashita, a restauranter and consultant responsible for the success of "Kurayamizaka Miyashita" and "Kafka" in Tokyo. A chic space that evokes a modern British member's club, it allows customers to kick back and enjoy a unique and vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of Alfred's legendary soirees.
Barbers
dunhill is proud to boast a luxury barber and grooming area in Alfred Dunhill at Ginza Chuo. Grooming is an essential part of self presentation for the British gentleman. Mirroring dunhill's collaboration with Penkhurst's in London, customers of the Ginza store can enjoy an indulgent treatment menu provided by Ginza Matsunaga - highly reputed for its distinguished technique and expertise in men's grooming.
Valet
The dunhill Valet will provide the most professional and luxurious wardrobe maintenance service available in Tokyo. It is operated by Happy Inc., the clothing care specialist whose service is characterised by its pioneering 'Aqua Dry' wet-cleaning technique. Especially suitable for premium clothing and kimonos, this laundering technique minimises fabric degradation and causes less damage to the environment as well as to human health. Detailed care and service will be provided for not only dunhill products but for the rest of a customer's wardrobe.
Limited Edition Menswear
Over a century has passed since Alfred Dunhill first developed and sold luxury motoring accessories - such as leather motoring coats, trunks, googles, flashboard clocks, horns and lamps. At Alfred Dunhill in Ginza Chuo, as well as the usual incomparable range of luxury products for men, limited edition menswear will be exclusively available in the Tokyo Home. These include Lumbs Golden Bale suit, vicuna Brompton coat, calf nappa biker jacket, and 3-in-1 Caban with removable leather/knit gilet.

Limited Edition Leathergoods
Waxy alligator holdall and attachè backgammon set and bony crocodile belt are a few examples of the apex leather products to be available exclusively at the Tokyo Home. With their fanatical attention to detail and understated indulgence, these limited edition pieces exceed your expectations.

Vintage Luxury Goods at Alfred Dunhill
As a leather specialist that is proud to offer a wide variety of leather products that no other men's brands come close to, dunhill introduces selections of vintage leather luggage from Bentleys, the renowned London antique boutique that specialises in rare travel cases. Owner Tim Bent's choice of vintage dunhill products and luggage from the 1920s takes pride of place, alongside vintage leather menswear from Old Hat, a destination vintage clothing shop in London.
