Motorities
The Motorities range is made from strong textured leaf brown canvas and soft brown leather, however it is not designed to be dry cleaned or washed.
To clean the canvas brush the surface gently with a clothes brush and use a soft dry cloth to clean the leather. Should the product get wet, please remove any residual water immediately with a paper towel, pack loosely with paper and allow it to dry naturally.
Some bags have storm covers as an integral feature, use a damp cloth and a mild detergent when cleaning, allow to dry before repacking. If the storm cover gets wet in use do not repack until thoroughly dry.
dunhill do not recommend the use of alcohol on the Motorities canvas and leather as this will irrevocably damage the surface.
NO PRODUCTS CONTAINING SOLVENTS SHOULD EVER BE USED ON THE LEATHER OR OTHER MATERIALS
The hardware – the lock, shoulder strap attachments and other metal fittings are made from gunmetal, which ensures the finish does not deteriorate through tarnishing and remains bright. Although scratches cannot be removed, any other marks can be cleaned using a damp cloth and then polished dry to remove any excess moisture.
General Care Comments
When not in use, large leather items should always be stored in the original pouch. If your item is not going to be used for a long period of time, dunhill recommends that you pad out the inside with tissue paper to maintain the shape.
dunhill also recommends that you do not overfill your item of leather, as this can distort the shape. Overfilling large leather goods, can also strain the strap, the zips and the locks.
It is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, as the colour of your Motorities piece could be affected.
