Poacher
The Poacher range is made from a buffed tumbled and waxed buffalo leather, with vintage look cotton webbing.
In case of marking wipe the leather with a damp cloth and then polish dry. dunhill do not recommend you use a neutral or brown cream as this will not absorb very quickly and could transfer onto clothing.
dunhill do not recommend the use of alcohol on the Poacher Leather as this will irrevocably damage the surface.
NO PRODUCTS CONTAINING SOLVENTS SHOULD EVER BE USED ON THE LEATHER OR OTHER MATERIALS.
The hardware – shoulder strap attachments and other metal fittings have a special brass effect lacquer, which ensures the finish does not deteriorate through tarnishing and remains bright. Although scratches cannot be removed, any other marks can be cleaned using a damp cloth and then polished dry to remove any excess moisture.
General Care Comments
When not in use, large leather items should be always be stored in the original pouch. If your item is not going to be used for a long period of time, dunhill recommends that you pad out the inside with tissue paper to maintain the shape.
dunhill also recommends that you do not overfill your item of leather, as this can distort the shape. Overfilling large leather goods, can also strain the strap and zips.
It is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, as the colour of your dunhill Poacher piece could be affected.
