Since the opening of the Rue de la Paix store in 1924, exotic materials have been used in the dunhill collection.
During the 1920s and 1930s a variety of products: timepieces, lighters, and even handbags were all adorned with materials such as crocodile-skin, ivory, snake-skin, deer, shagreen, lizard and red morocco.
Superlative & sophisticated
The Exotics collection is one of dunhill's most popular ranges, offering leather items in precious crocodile, lizard and ostrich skins. Only the smallest and softest skins are used, and they need to be supple and flawless. The leather is cut by highly skilled craftsman using techniques to ensure that each finished item has a symmetrical appearance. The skilled craftsmanship that goes in to making these pieces, and the use of only the most beautiful exotic skins, combine to ensure a look, feel and finish that will appeal to the most discerning of our customers.
Ostrich Skin Coat Wallet
The coat wallet is a functional piece that enables the user to carry up to ten credit cards, in addition to coins, banknotes, receipts and tickets. Despite its functionality, this wallet is also a luxurious piece created from ostrich skin with its unique texture. Due to the naturalness of the finish, no two wallets will be the same in terms of colour or pattern a feature that further adds to the attractiveness of this piece.
