Cleaning your Non-Water Resistant Timepiece on leather or metal strap
Carefully clean "non water-resistant watches" with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water, or any other cleaning solvent, as these may enter the watch and damage the movement.
Contact with water will also have an adverse affect on the longevity of a leather strap. You should always take off your watch, before you swim, bath or shower.
