Cleaning your Water Resistant Timepiece on Metal Bracelet
If you need to clean your watch, we recommend gently brushing it with a soft brush, dipped in lukewarm soapy water. After this operation, carefully rinse your watch in fresh water.
NB You should avoid this procedure if your watch has a leather strap, as contact with moisture will have an adverse affect on the longevity of the strap. Please see 'Cleaning your Water Resistant Timepiece on Leather Strap'
After swimming (either in seawater or in a swimming pool) always rinse your watch immediately with fresh water. This will avoid either salt or chlorine damaging the watch gaskets, which gives the watch its water resistant qualities.
NB You should always take off your watch, if it has a leather strap, before you swim, bath or shower, as contact with moisture will have an adverse affect on the longevity of the strap. Please see 'Cleaning your Water Resistant Timepiece on Leather Strap'.
