Wheel Watch

Heritage & Inspiration

If you love old motors, you'll see immediately what inspired the case design of A Duhill Ltd's Wheel Watch -- it is shaped just like the evocative metal 'spinners' often used to attach wire wheels to period sports car.

A Duhill Ltd´s Wheel Watch

This unique ‘monolug’ time piece takes its cues from the automobile world with an engine-turned bezel which cleverly conceals the winding crown to protect it from knocks whilst also hiding the strap attachments to maintain the smooth, flowing lines of the ‘spinner’ shape.

Imposing and Stylish

Measuring an imposing 42mm diameter, the Wheel Watch is available in two styles: the Petrolhead and Chronograph. The Petrolhead style makes clever use of a car-type ‘fuel gauge’ design to show the power reserve of the Dubois-Dépraz movement - as the mainspring unwinds, the needle on the gauge slowly falls from ‘full’ to ‘empty’ so you know when it is time for a refill. However, daily use of this automatic timepiece ensures you need never be seen on the garage forecourt.

Wheel Watch Chronograph

The Wheel Watch Chronograph is designed for timing everything from the speed of a McLaren F1 around Goodwood to the perfect boiled egg. An automatic Dubois-Dépraz chronograph movement nestles behind a black guilloché dial with easy-to-read, white hour and minute hands and a red chronograph hand.
