Sidecar

Heritage & Inspiration

Part of the design inspiration for the Sidecar collection comes from an archive piece dating back to 1952.

It was in fact an ebonite pencil with a propelling movement, cutting edge for its day We have kept this inspirational and original design, and adapted it to a new modern collection, Sidecar.

Elegant Styling & Exquisite Craftsmanship

Inspired by both the streamlined silhouette of the iconic 1930s Steib sidecar and the 'torpedo' shape of a pen from the dunhill archive, the modern, distinguished and effortlessly chic Sidecar writing instrument collection marries elegant styling with the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Limited Edition Sidecar Victorian

Limited Edition Sidecar Victorian

Sidecar Victorian, of which there are only 250, has looked to the architecture of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design, for inspiration. The fountain pen features a burgundy lacquer covered brass barrel and a palladium plated brass cap, which has been chemcially etched with a design that evokes the Art Noveau origins of the museum.

Sidecar Revolette Diamond Pattern

Sidecar Revolette Diamond Pattern

Luxurious and inspired, the Sidecar Revolette is a feat of function and design, and it is now available in a diamond pattern finish. Faithful to the successful Revolette design, the Sidecar Revolette Diamond Pattern also utilises the experience of a respected car engineer - a unique, patent pending, rotating mechanism is hidden beneath the cylinder, which has an interesting finish in the form of diamond pattern engine turning cut into the aluminium body before being palladium plated. Subtly echoing the barrel of a handgun, each display function on the rotating mechanism represents a separate 'chamber'. One simple lift and twist of the pen cap reveals the barrel, loaded with a choice of three writing styles - black ballpoint, red ballpoint or propelling pencil.
