Committed to providing exceptional craftsmanship in tailoring, the dunhill Made to Measure programme will create a piece of clothing solely designed to the individual’s unique specifications. Fabrics take inspiration from traditional English dressing and the travelling wardrobe in the region of three hundred of the finest British and Italian cloths offered to craft a two or three piece suit, jacket, trouser or shirt or overcoat. A jacket will use some one hundred and eighty separate pieces in its construction and a suit will undergo a two hundred operations by skilled artisans.January 08 / 2016

A choice of two signature dunhill cuts may be chosen for each garment – the St James block - the dunhill approach to a traditional Savile Row shape - or the Belgravia fit - a slimmer silhouette with narrower shoulders, a suppressed waist and built up chest. For the utmost individuality, further choices follow such as fabric selection and for a jacket; a notch or peak lapel, double or single vents and straight or slanted pockets.
Every Made to Measure jacket includes a ‘roped’ shoulder - raising the crown of the sleeve slightly for a clean line and typically English silhouette – as well as a floating canvas within the jacket front allowing it to mould to the body over time. The most luxurious cloths offered are the Super 170s and Super 200s, boasting some of the most finely spun yarn possible. This selection is produced in English mills and the fineness of the yarn is evident in the definition of patterns achieved such as in charcoal birds eye and herringbones. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
