The Davies

The Davies sneaker takes its starting point from the driving shoe, reinterpreting a familiar silhouette through the language of contemporary footwear. Inspired by dunhill motoring heritage, it combines the refinement of leather craftsmanship with a lighter, more relaxed approach to everyday wear. Hand-burnished Patina Calf develops depth and character over time, while rich Italian suede offers a softer expression of the design.

Comfort is considered from the inside out. Reduced internal components allow the upper to flex naturally, while a nappa leather lining and anatomical footbed provide lasting support. The low-profile construction keeps the silhouette clean, making Davies equally suited to tailoring and more casual dress.

In 1904, Alfred Dunhill promised “everything but the motor” to a new generation of motorists. That philosophy of combining performance with sophistication continues to inform the House today. References to its automotive heritage appear throughout Davies, from the custom stop-release speedlacesystem, recalling engineered mechanisms developed for ease and precision, to the amber rubber sole with its micro Hobnailtexture inspired by dunhill hard luxury. A tonal AD Cypher completes the design with quiet restraint.
