As with all dunhill products, our jewellery items are made to the very highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Jewellery requires very little maintenance from our customer services. However, there are some simple things that you can do to care for your product.

Alfred Dunhill was responsible for both the invention of the very first one-handed lighter, and the very first luxury butane gas lighter.

Our lighters are precision pieces that have been made to withstand regular daily use. We advise customers to take time to read the instruction booklet carefully before and during use.

As with any precision product, your dunhill lighter will require regular servicing. For the guidelines on how often to have you own lighter serviced, please contact your local customer services.

• There are some simple things that you can do to increase the longevity of time between services.

The current collections represent the embodiment of this craftsmanship, heritage and expertise. Made to the very highest quality, Alfred Dunhill leather pieces are unique, beautifully designed and superbly executed.

Leather is a natural product, and this means that it requires care and attention over time. 

In case of marking, wipe the leather with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry. For stubborn marks a small amount of neutral shoe polish cream can be used with a dry cloth. Our leather will develop its own character and patina with age, making it unique to its owner.

dunhill do not recommend the use of alcohol or other solvents on any of our leather products as this will irrevocably damage the surface.

Our hardware on the logo, zip and other metal fittings are made from a high specification finish, which ensures that it does not deteriorate through tarnishing. Although scratches cannot be removed, any other marks can be cleaned using a damp cloth and then polished dry to remove any excess moisture.

dunhill do not officially offer a guarantee on our menswear items, as they are made from natural products, however, we do stand by the quality of our manufacture. Therefore, should there be any defect of manufacture; we will of course try to rectify the matter.

• Damage and/or defects caused by fair wear and tear, accidents, use which is unreasonable or inconsistent with dunhill’s instructions, dismantling, or repair by persons other than authorised dunhill repair specialists, or the use of components or accessories other than those recommended by dunhill, are not covered by this gesture.
