ABSTRACT FLORALS JUMPER
The Abstract Florals capsule draws inspiration from the ornate damask textiles used in early 20th-century couture, as well as in fabrics used to decorate opulent settings like stately homes. Celebrating craft at its most intricate and idiosyncratic, the designs play with a tradition of eccentric English style by foregrounding the textural 'floats', or strands of thread, usually only visible on the reverse of such fabrics. The floral subject matter is similarly subverted by means of a unique reverse-Jacquard process, which further deconstructs and distorts the image.
This jumper is engineered in midweight pink merino wool, and features a seamless all-over print inspired by our Abstract Florals designs. Cut for a regular fit, this piece is slightly cropped in length.
